The Kanto Clowns traces its lineage to the Kanto Clown unit of the Kanto Shriners Club in the mid-1960s.  Rejuvenated and changed to a supporting, but not affiliated clown organization in 1985, the Kanto Clowns is a non-profit organization that unselfishly contributes numerous hours each year to support several events both on and off base.  All of which promote joy and happiness to everyone and provides any monies donated above the cost of operation to the fund to transport children with orthopedic or burn problems to the appropriate Shriner Hospital in the US for free treatment.
